Ulm, September 19, 2025 – c-entron Software GmbH is continuing its growth trajectory in 2025. In an interview with the trade magazine CRN, Managing Director Volker Lehnert provides insights into the biggest challenges of the past year, the most important innovations and future growth areas.

2024: Challenges and opportunities
The year 2024 was characterized by a noticeable reluctance to invest among SMEs. A difficult time for many companies in the ICT sector – but also an opportunity for c-entron:
„We have used the situation to work even more closely with our partners and customers and jointly develop solutions that offer real added value,“ says Lehnert.
One result is the introduction of the subscription model, which gives customers flexible access to the ERP solution and paves the way to a SaaS future.
Innovations with added value
c-entron is particularly proud of two central initiatives that make the day-to-day work of system houses noticeably easier:
- AI features for all customers: Automation of routine tasks, translations of technical content and smart support in day-to-day service increase efficiency and productivity.
- Feature request portal: Customers can use this platform to submit and prioritize requests directly. The further development of the software is thus closely aligned with the needs of users.
Growth areas 2025
For the coming twelve months, c-entron sees great opportunities in the areas of managed services, security, cloud and artificial intelligence.
„We see great growth potential in the areas of managed services (MSP), security, cloud and artificial intelligence in particular. We want to show our partners the way and get them more involved in growth segments“.
Self-service offerings and Workstation-as-a-Service will also be important levers for further growth. The aim is to offer partners and customers maximum flexibility and new sales opportunities.
Focus on the partner ecosystem
The expansion of the partner network remains a central element of the strategy:
„We want to strengthen our partner ecosystem and work even more closely with resellers and integrators. This will allow us to create synergies, expand our portfolio and develop integrated solutions that offer real added value to all parties involved,“ emphasizes Lehnert.
